You and I
Could you do all of the things I do,
Without so much devotion?
I don't know what to do,
I'm running out of motion.
There is so much of you,
In everything that I do.
I will stay with you,
Until tomorrow,
But tomorrow will never come.
I'm running in so many directions,
I know we will never be the same,
With the elements,
That make us who we are.
It's not easy to pretend that it's not this way,
But you're hurting me in those subtle ways,
My past actions betrays my reason,
Without them,
Things would still be the same.
I don't think you will realise,
There will never be,
Another,
Who cares for you like me.
